It's all about the comics this week! After a trip down memory lane with news of a new Knight Rider, a 3rd TRON film, and yet another team up from Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, we dive into two new ongoing series. First up is Horizon Zero Dawn Issues #0 and #1 from Titan Comics, followed by a gleeful review of Fire Power issues #1 and #2 from Image Comics. We also discuss TV shows we'd like to see make a comeback and a handful of other comics that are keeping our attention!

This week's theme inadvertently plays up to our nostalgic sides as we take a trip down memory lane! With news about Scream 5, Patty Jenkins leaving Wonder Woman after the third film, and Spider-Man being a playable exclusive in the PS4/5 version of the Avengers game, Mark and Jasmin talk about the impact the Scream franchise and PlayStation consoles had on their childhoods. Reviews of Transformers: War for Cybertron and Pulp lead to more nostalgic asides even though one of the aforementioned pieces left a lot to be desired. Have a listen!

This week we cover lots of comic news; including a Power Rangers relaunch with Mighty Morphin #1, re-release of full color issues for The Walking Dead, and a brand new comic from Boom! Studios and Keanu Reaves. As for reviews, we're tackling Cursed (a Netflix original series), and TNT's Snowpiercer series now that the first season has wrapped up. Recommendations this week are the March graphic novel series from Congressman and civil rights activist John Lewis (who passed away this week), and Empyre #1 from Marvel.

We start off this episode with more DCEU news -- Javicia Leslie has been announced as the new Batwoman for the CW and HBO Max will have a Gotham PD series spin off from the Robert Pattinson led Batman film. In Marvel comic news, there's another massive event coming our way in December as Knull heads to Earth. We also gush about how much we've enjoyed Japan Sinks and The Old Guard which were new Netflix originals. Give us a listen and let us know what you think!

Big DCEU news this week with allegations against Joss Whedon's behavior on the set of Justice League. Stargirl was renewed for a second season on the CW, and Marvel has bought up the rights to Alien and Predator imprints from Dark Horse Comics. We also talk about how much we loved Robert Kirkman's new title, Fire Power, as well as delve into the world of the rebooted Perry Mason limited series on HBO.
