Late to the Party - Episode 18 - The Dark Phoenix Saga

After last week's anti-climactic end to the original X-Men trilogy, we decided to go back to the source material. We're reading The Dark Phoenix Saga to see what could have been. But be warned, this saga is not so easily digestible for comic novices.

Episode 157 - X2: X-Men United (2003) Review

A rare occasion in film where the sequel is better than the original? We certainly think X2 fits the bill. We did get a bit sidetracked at the beginning of the episode with our discussion on Quiet On Set. Trigger warning, we do briefly mention some of the abuse that the documentary covers.

Episode 156 - X-Men (2000) Review

We are back this week with, arguably, the film that kicked off our higher expectations in the Superhero film genre. (2008 took that to new heights, but that's another conversation for another day...) Episode 154 - Elektra (2005) Review

Finishing up our time on Earth-701306, and we're grateful there weren't anymore sequels here. The year was 2005, the soundtrack is blah (compared to Daredevil two years prior), and a lot people phoned it on for this one.
